Using Oruxmaps
See Illustrated settings.
Now that you have installed Oruxmaps and Lake Powell maps:
Select a directory and a map, to do this;
Select the triple ":" in the upper right hand corner.
Select "Settings", "Maps", "Maps directory", "Lake Powell".
Press and hold "Lake Powell". That makes "Lake Powell" the working directory.
Back out to the main map screen and select the paper "World Map"
"Switch map", press the "reset arrows"
Select the map of your choice. (example: "3600' Shallow Depth")
These are large maps and take a minute or two to load into the cache .img directory as many smaller maps. Be patient and let the Andoid Tablet/Smartphone process the information.
Garmin ",img" files.
Select the triple ":" in the upper right hand corner.
Select "Settings", "Maps", scroll down towards the bottom of the page and select "Garmin map settings".
There are a number of options there to choose. To reduce the clutter turn off "Line labels".
After making any changes in the map settings or selection, it's important to "Reset Raser cache".
Select the triple ":" in the upper right hand corner.
Select "Settings", "Maps"
Scroll down about half way and select "Reset raster cache". That will clear the cache.
Back out to the main map screen.
Once again allow a minute or two for the changes to take effect. The raster cache has been emptied and needs to be rebuilt with new parameters.
