I just have to tell you how much I love your app! Last year was our first year on the lake, and after 2 1/2 hours on the lake I had a rock strike and taken my boat out of commission for the season, doing $8k in damage. This year I was determined to prevent the same thing from happening, and with your app, I drove with confidence wherever I went! Bottom line is I had a fantastic time on the lake and came home with a fully functioning boat.
I will provide you the best kind of advertising there is--user recommendation--any chance I can. I'll post it on the MasterCraft enthusiast site which I frequent, and Wayne's Words Lake Powell message blog. I really loved it and can't be more thankful!
Best to you,
Forrest

I want to give you some feedback on your 3600 foot map chip with the depth labels. It is FANTASTIC! I used it constantly when underway, during 183 miles of exploration on the water. It saved me time and fuel by revealing passages and shortcuts which would have gone unnoticed without your map's clear display of actual shoreline and water depth. Also, it kept me safe.
Your map chip fills a disappointing void in Garmin's mapping products, and your data made my boating vacation more enjoyable and safe. It revealed shallow spots in front of my boat's path which might have gone unnoticed because of surface glare and reflections, until too late.
At one location located 1/2 mile west of Gregory Butte my wife and I were traveling at high speed far from shore and near the deep water of the main channel. A glance at the chart plotter (running your 3600MSL map) indicated I was approaching an unseen shoreline. I quickly pulled back the throttle and as my boat dropped off it's plane I could see in front of the boat some tall grass and a few reeds emerging vertically from the lake's surface. We cautiously idled past the barely-submerged bit of Terra Firma and saw that it was covered by less than a foot of water. In the glare of the afternoon sun, my westbound path on the water created bright surface reflections, robbing me of a view of the water's color and hence its depth. Without your Lake Level Map, this submerged mound could have caused a grounding.

Your website helped immensely, I would never have gotten it set up without the android directions.
FYI I installed it on a Samsung note 10.1 with wifi only, it does not have phone capability, but it does have GPS.
I was able to make good use of it for navigation right away and it was excellent, my wife used it constantly to take us from Wahweap to Rainbow Bridge. In and out of camp and to locate Dangling Rope. It was our first time on Powell and I am certain it was a key in our successful trip. I only checked paper maps once or twice for convenience.

Never mind. Figured it out. Had to make a file called garmin, then drop the file in it. no prob. man, between the two maps, depressing how low it is! i think the lake is about 100 feet higher than your sample map. For sure, I want to purchase it. Problem is, we aren't gonna be there until the first week of Sept. do you think the lake level will change a bunch after this winter's snowfall? thanks in advance and your maps are outstanding. a must.
